The crown jewel of Pavese Ermes. Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle is produced from the Prié Blanc grape, one of the oldest white varieties in the world. Prié Blanc is grown on the highest vineyards in Europe, often at altitudes exceeding 1,200 meters, in the communes of Morgex and La Salle at the foot of Mont Blanc.

What makes this wine truly special is the ancient viticultural practice used to cultivate it: franc de pied, meaning the vines are ungrafted and grow on their own original rootstocks. Because the sandy, glacial soils of this high-altitude region were never affected by phylloxera, these vines have survived for centuries in their pure, original form.

The wine is pale straw in colour, with delicate aromas of white flowers, green apple, citrus zest, and a distinctive alpine minerality. On the palate, it is crisp and refreshing, with a saline finish that speaks of its mountain origins. It is a wine of remarkable elegance and purity, and a true ambassador for the Aosta Valley's white wine heritage.

Winemaking: Grapes are undestemmed and pressed, and fermented with controlled temperature. Aged in large stainless steel tanks for nine months.
