A rare late-harvest ice wine from the area!
The vineyard is planted on sandy mountain soil at an altitude of 900–1,200 meters above sea level. The grapes are hand-picked during the first ten days of December, when temperatures range between -5°C and -10°C, following several frosts. The frozen clusters are pressed, and as the ice compacts, it concentrates the sugar. The resulting must is then transferred to stainless steel tanks, where it rests for one year.
In the glass, the wine displays an intense golden yellow colour. Its aroma is intense and layered, revealing notes of mountain herbs (thyme, juniper), almonds, dried fruit, and honey. On the palate, it is dry, smooth, and persistent, with intriguing hints of candied citrus peel, sweet spices, white pepper, and fine saffron. Well-balanced and harmonious throughout.
