An elegant, articulate Tuscan red that invites you in from the very first glass. Bright ruby in colour, it opens with wild cherry, blood orange, crushed violet and a refreshing lift of mint. On the palate it is graceful and lively, with fine, polished tannins, notes of raspberry and wild strawberry, and a fresh, energetic finish that lingers with red fruit and flowers.
Crafted from old-vine Sangiovese (70%) with traditional Tuscan varieties (10% Colorino, 5% Canaiolo, 5% Ciliegiolo, 5% Malvasia, 5% Trebbiano), sourced from high-altitude vineyards between Panzano and Montefioralle, and aged 18 months in large oak followed by 8 months in bottle, it combines traditional character with a beautifully polished touch.
